The Hope of Glory denomination is the Into Africa Project partner in the Kasai-Oriental province of the DRC. The current construction project includes multiple phases, with two church buildings being constructed in the first period. Eventually, six or buildings are planned to be built in the area west and northwest of Mbuji-Mayu, the capital city of the Kasai-Oriental province. The following map shows the location of the Kasai-Oriental province and Mbuji-Mayi within the DRC, and also calls out the first construction area on the Bateke Plateau.

International Cooperating Ministries (ICM) has partnered with the Hope of Glory in the construction of the initial two churches, and other partners have contributed funds for the construction of an orphanage at one of the sites.

The cost of this project is currently estimated at US$ 20,000 per training center/church structure, or US$ 120,000 in total. Once the two church buildings are constructed during phase one, we anticipate receiving approximately US$ 60,000 from a partnering organization, leaving a funding gap of US$ 60,000.
