Prayer aligns us to the will of God, calls down power on God’s servants, and pleads for the healing and transformation of a community. Prayer walking takes us into an area of need in order to see and feel the desperate plight of lost people. Mobilizing, informing, and directing the prayer of intercessors is Biblically mandated and essential for initiating and maintaining a VCP Movement.
Prayer for Coordinators from the Great Lakes Region
OMS Africa has appointed an African VCP coordinator who is responsible for facilitating prayer for our African ministries. The prayer coordinator engages in the following:
- Initiates focused prayer campaigns for our VCP African ministries
- Mobilizes prayer and fasting in VCP churches
- Develops prayer chains and networks
- Enlists intercessory groups
- Records and distributes ministry testimonies
- Liaises with VCP supervisors and country coordinators in developing our prayer strategies
